Motorcycle
Motorcycles need their own vignette in Austria with reduced prices (2026 annual € 42.40, 1-day € 3.80, 10-day € 6.40, 2-month € 16.10). The digital vignette is bound to the motorcycle plate.
Note: the A 13 Brenner motorway is a special-toll section (Sondermautstrecke). The vignette alone is not enough, a separate toll applies.
Motorhome
Motorhomes up to 3.5 t maximum permissible weight use the normal car vignette (€ 106.80 annual). Above 3.5 t the kilometre-based GO toll applies (separate GO-Box on the vehicle).
Car with trailer
In Austria only the towing vehicle needs a vignette, the trailer does not need its own. The vignette is bought on the plate of the towing vehicle. Important exception: if the combination exceeds 3.5 t maximum permissible weight, the GO toll applies.
Sondermautstrecken: vignette alone is not enough!
Special-toll sections requiring an additional toll on top of the vignette: A 9 Bosruck/Gleinalm, A 10 Tauern/Katschberg, A 11 Karawanken, A 13 Brenner (entire), S 16 Arlberg, plus private mountain roads (Großglockner).
